Theism is belief in the existence of a god or gods, specifically of a creator who governs the universe. Majority of theists/people across the Globe follow religious beliefs, rituals of their choice.

The main hitch for problems/conflicts among various religions is that each religion concentrates on increasing the followers to their respective religion, similar to present day trend of increasing subscribers/viewership to their channels/social media memberships.
Crazy thinking.
All religions will have its own God/deity, religious texts containing eulogisation of its God/deity, rituals related to various occasions, pertaining to the community following the religion concerned, etc.
Vaishnavism, Shaivism,Judaism, Islam, Shaktism, Christianity, Buddhism, etc, are all religions.
There exists a common concept covering all human beings - irrespective of the religious beliefs, called SPIRITUALITY. It can be practiced whether one is theist or an atheist or agnostic or something else.
Majority of theists across the globe believe in the physical gods/messengers of gods, though there are no physical gods. There is only one ENERGY that is governing the world.
SPIRITUALITY is the search for
- the purpose of life,
- search for the unknown, unseen, but all powerful ENERGY/GOD, governing the entire world, and
- finally realising, not understanding, that SOUL residing in each movable and immovable being is the same as the GOD.
——
The solution lies in understanding/realising the fact that the God/all powerful ENERGY cannot be experienced, unless ONE follows the following rules, which are essential in progressing in SPIRITUALITY. These rules have no connection with any religious beliefs.
- Following the path of TRUTH (in thinking, speaking and in action)
- Attending to one’s responsibilities to the best of ability, knowledge and experience
- One should not praise oneself or others and one should not condemn oneself or others.

There was a saying in Mahabharata, a text in Hinduism, which prohibits 4 types of habits that are detrimental to a person in spiritual practices.
This was stated by Shalya to Duryodhana.
ātmanindātmapūjā ca paranindā parastavaḥ।
anācaritamāryāṇāṃ vṛttamētaccaturvidham॥
Shalya said, "These four kinds of conduct--self-rebuke and self-praise, speaking ill of others, and adulation of others, are never practised by those that are WISE.
