Was Vaikuntha Dwara Darshanam mentioned in Puranas?

TTD has during the 10 days Vaikuntha ...

The importance of various Ekādaśīs - Mokṣadā Ekādaśī to Kāmadā Ekādaśī were explained in Chapters 39 to 63 of Section 6 - Uttara-Khaṇḍa of Padma Purana.

According to it, Mokṣadā Ekādaśī was described as the best one for attaining Salvation.

There is no mention of Vaikuntha Ekadashi in Padma Purana.

Normally, it is associated with Mokṣadā Ekādaśī in Internet.

In Padma Purana, it was mentioned that Mokṣadā Ekādaśī falls on Shuklapaksha Ekādaśī of Margasirsha month, whereas Vaikuntha Ekadashi falls on Shuklapaksha Ekādaśī of Pushya month.

As far as Vaikunta Dwara Darshan is concerned, it involves passing through the Vaikunta Dwaram, a sacred entrance to the temple, on the day of Vaikunta Ekadasi. Devotees believe that passing through the Vaikunta Dwaram on this day brings spiritual blessings and cleanses sins.

However, it is to be remembered that no such mention was made in Puranas.

If we consider the issue in esoteric sense, then we can understand that if proper fasting is done on Mokṣadā Ekādaśī day, duly followed by Dwadashi rituals - as per Padma Purana, one can get one’s sins cleaned. Rising of Kundalini and going upwards towards and reaching Sahasrara Chakra can be considered as Uttara/Vaikuntha Dwara Darshanam.

I do not know as to how passing through a gate arranged in the Northern side of a Vaishanava Temple can cleanse one’s sins.

I will leave this issue to the discretion of individuals.
